Adam's background is from AFL, where he spent time with Sydney and Collingwood before moving to the US to pursue a career in American Football.

Adam's background in America is as follows:

• As a Freshman Adam was named first team freshman All American and received the Uconn special teams MVP
• As a Sophmore Adam led the nation in pinning the opposition inside the 20 (32 Inside20 / 1 Touchback)
• As a junior and senior Adam was a candidate for the Ray Guy Award for the nations best Punter and won the Special Teams MVP.
• Currently Adam holds every career and single season record at the university of Connecticut.
• Adam was also the holder for 3 years.
• Adam worked at the Ray Guy kicking Academy as in instructor
